6G Field Tests: A Bridge to Com­mer­cia­liza­ti­on – From Infra­struc­tu­re to End Devices

Announce­ment for the Fun­ding of Pro­jects on the Sub­ject “6G Field Tests: A Bridge to Com­mer­cia­liza­ti­on – From Infra­struc­tu­re to End Devices”:

The Bun­des­mi­nis­te­ri­um für For­schung, Tech­no­lo­gie und Raum­fahrt (BMFTR) intends to fund pro­jects on the topic of “6G Field Tests: A Bridge to Com­mer­cia­liza­ti­on – From Infra­struc­tu­re to End Devices.” The goal is to streng­then the long-term com­pe­ti­ti­ve­ness of the Ger­man eco­no­my in the 6G sec­tor, expand eco­sys­tems and test infra­struc­tures, and trans­la­te soci­al­ly rele­vant inno­va­tions into prac­ti­cal appli­ca­ti­ons. It thus streng­thens the tech­no­lo­gi­cal sove­reig­n­ty of Ger­ma­ny and Euro­pe and builds on the pre­vious suc­ces­ses of rese­arch and deve­lo­p­ment in the 6G sec­tor to date. Fur­ther infor­ma­ti­on on the fun­ding call can be found here.
