WE-Heraeus Semi­nar on the Topic “Phy­sics and Secu­ri­ty – from Ran­dom Num­bers to Secu­re Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on” in Bad Hon­nef –

The 806th WE-Heraeus Semi­nar on the topic “Phy­sics and Secu­ri­ty — from Ran­dom Num­bers to Secu­re Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on” will take place from 05 to 08 March 2024 at the Phy­sik­zen­trum Bad Hon­nef. This work­shop addres­ses young quan­tum phy­si­cists who work on modern quan­tum tech­no­lo­gies to under­stand the basics of infor­ma­ti­on theo­ry, num­ber theo­ry and cryp­to­gra­phy. Simi­lar­ly, the work­shop addres­ses young rese­ar­chers in infor­ma­ti­on theo­ry and com­pu­ter sci­ence to under­stand the basics of quan­tum mecha­nics and the under­ly­ing phy­sics which might end­an­ger their cryp­to-sys­tems or not. Click here for more infor­ma­ti­on about the work­shop.
