DPG Fall Mee­ting 2025

From 08 to 12 Sep­tem­ber 2025, the second Fall Mee­ting of the Deut­sche Phy­si­ka­li­sche Gesell­schaft (DPG) will take place in Göt­tin­gen. The mee­ting will cover the pre­sent sta­tus and per­spec­ti­ves of all fields of modern phy­sics reig­ned by Quan­tum Mecha­nics (con­den­sed mat­ter phy­sics, ato­mic and mole­cu­lar phy­sics, quan­tum optics, ele­men­ta­ry par­tic­le phy­sics, quan­tum infor­ma­ti­on and com­pu­ting, and many others) as well as the his­to­ri­cal roots of Quan­tum Mecha­nics and con­cep­tu­al ques­ti­ons that still chall­enge today. Apart from high pro­fi­le spea­k­ers cove­ring all fields of modern phy­sics the­re will be con­tri­bu­ted ses­si­ons, all tog­e­ther crea­ting a uni­que oppor­tu­ni­ty to look across the boun­da­ries of indi­vi­du­al rese­arch topics under the umbrel­la of Quan­tum Phy­sics. Accom­pany­ing the DPG Fall Mee­ting, an Indus­try Day will take place on 10 Sep­tem­ber 2025. Abs­tracts for con­tri­bu­ted talks or pos­ters can be sub­mit­ted here until 23 May 2025. The Indus­try Day pro­vi­des an excel­lent plat­form to pre­sent your own rese­arch or com­pa­ny to a sci­en­ti­fic audi­ence. The­re is also the oppor­tu­ni­ty to par­ti­ci­pa­te with a booth as part of the indus­try exhi­bi­ti­on.
