Public Consultation on the EU Quantum Act launched

European Commission calls for Contributions to the Development of a future EU Quantum Act:

Quantum Technologies are expected to drive the next wave of innovation – and, according to the European Commission, position Europe at the forefront of this development. A corresponding EU Quantum Act is scheduled to be adopted next year. It pursues three key objectives: first, to promote research and innovation in order to establish Europe as a leading hub for Quantum Technologies by 2030; second, to expand industrial capacities; and third, to better protect critical supply chains.

To help shape the EU Quantum Act, the European Commission has now launched a public consultation. Until 26 November 2025, interested stakeholders – such as authorities of the Member States, operators of EuroHPC/EuroQCI infrastructures, SMEs, start-ups, research institutions, and universities – can submit feedback on the EU Quantum Act. Click here for more information about the consultation.
