SQuaD Booth at the Quantum Effects in Stuttgart:
The Quantum Effects is an international exhibition and conference for application-oriented Quantum Technologies with global appeal, which has been held annually in Stuttgart since 2023. With its global appeal, the event aims to create networks and a shared ecosystem at the interface of business, politics, science, and society. The event focuses on the following four pillars: Computing & Enabling Technologies, Software, Sensing, and Communication. This year, SQuaD was also present with its own booth.
The exhibition took place on 08 and 09 October at the International Congress Centre in Stuttgart and offered 85 exhibitors and around 2,500 participants from 27 countries a varied and high-quality programme. The umbrella project was not neglected either: on the first day of the fair, Dr. Linus Krieg gave an exciting presentation entitled “Umbrella Project Quantum Communication Germany: The Community firmly in view”, in which he provided a comprehensive overview of the background, objectives and activities of the project.
Looking back, Quantum Effects was an excellent opportunity for SQuaD to network and exchange ideas with decision-makers, experts, and interested parties from the international Quantum Technology scene. The stand, decorated with umbrellas, attracted numerous visitors who came to find out more about the project and the latest developments in the field of Quantum Communication. The exhibition also proved to be a valuable platform for receiving direct feedback from the community, increasing the visibility of SQuaD and gaining important impetus for future work.
