SQuaD Work­shop on Know­ledge Trans­fer for Quan­tum Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on

On 12 and 13 June 2025, a SQuaD work­shop on know­ledge trans­fer for Quan­tum Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on will take place at the Fraun­ho­fer Insti­tu­te for Appli­ed Optics and Pre­cis­i­on Engi­nee­ring (IOF) in Jena. The aim of the event is to trans­fer know­ledge about cur­rent rese­arch of QCom and its appli­ca­ti­on in indus­try and gene­ral public to redu­ce bar­riers and to enhan­ce the ear­ly adop­ti­on of Quan­tum Tech­no­lo­gies. The work­shop pro­vi­des insights into sta­te-of-the-art Quan­tum Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on with easy-to-under­stand con­cept descrip­ti­ons and hands-on expe­ri­ence to get in touch with Quan­tum Tech­no­lo­gies. Fur­ther­mo­re, pre­sen­ta­ti­ons from experts not only from rese­arch but also from indus­try give examp­les and chal­lenges for the appli­ca­ti­on of Quan­tum Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on. The who­le work­shop is desi­gned for inter­ac­ti­ve ses­si­ons with a lot of room for ques­ti­ons and dis­cus­sions to spark your curio­si­ty. Regis­tra­ti­on is now open until 31 May 2025, and can be com­ple­ted direct­ly via the IOF web­site.
