The Quan­tum Eco­sys­tem of the Future: Appli­ca­ti­ons, Stan­dards, Work­force and Qua­li­ty Infra­struc­tu­re

On 19 Novem­ber 2026, in con­junc­tion with the 90th Inter­na­tio­nal Elec­tro­tech­ni­cal Com­mis­si­on (IEC) Gene­ral Mee­ting 2026 in Ham­burg, the sym­po­si­um “The Quan­tum Eco­sys­tem of the Future: Appli­ca­ti­ons, Stan­dards, Work­force, and Qua­li­ty Infra­struc­tu­re” will take place, addres­sing on Quan­tum Tech­no­lo­gies. The event will focus in par­ti­cu­lar on the cen­tral ques­ti­on: how do we trans­la­te com­plex rese­arch into sca­lable, secu­re and eco­no­mic­al­ly via­ble pro­ducts? Lea­ding experts from indus­try, aca­de­mia, metro­lo­gy, and stan­dar­diza­ti­on will exami­ne the inter­play of rese­arch and deve­lo­p­ment, pro­ducts, mar­ket, and stan­dar­diza­ti­on from various per­spec­ti­ves.
