QBN – Quantum Business Network
QBN, the Quantum Business Network, is the world’s leading business network in the field of quantum technologies with more than 80 members from 19 countries. QBN is more than an ecosystem; it is a platform that brings together business, academia, and policy makers to jointly build a strong quantum industry in Europe.
As part of the SQuaD project, QBN is significantly involved in developing and implementing strategies and tools to foster innovation, technology transfer, and knowledge exchange to support key players, especially founders, startups and SMEs, in the commercialization of quantum communication and to strengthen the German and European community. The QBN working group ‘Quantum Communication and Cybersecurity’ meets regularly to discuss current trends and challenges in science and industry, initiate collaborations and develop offers to advise policy makers and users.
With a deep focus on all areas of quantum technologies, from quantum computing and applications to quantum communications and cryptography to quantum sensing and imaging, QBN facilitates interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and collaborations across the value chain.
By combining deep industry expertise with years of experience in venture building and innovation management, the QBN team provides growth acceleration and technological advancement to its members. This is achieved through industry collaborations, deep market insights, increased visibility, business development and technology transfer, as well as entrepreneurial mentoring and rapid access to private and public financing.
QBN is not just a network, but a catalyst for innovation and progress in the quantum industry. By joining forces and sharing common goals, QBN is significantly shaping the future of quantum technologies and their industrial applications.
