Innovation Hub for Quantum Communication

The Innovation Hub for Quantum Communication is intended to systematically link and thereby further intensify Germany’s existing and comprehensive research landscape in the field of quantum communication with the industrial development of components, systems, and solutions for quantum communication. The Innovation Hub connects the active stakeholders, projects and current topics in quantum communication, rather than connecting individual, unrelated topics.

Objectives of the Hub:

Industry-led Projects

The Innovation Hub for Quantum Communication comprises six industry-led projects and the coordinating umbrella project SQuaD.

In addition to the umbrella project, the hub also promotes industry-led research projects that participate in the work of the umbrella project through an industrial advisory board. The focus is on specific individual applications of the entire range of quantum communication.
