Natio­nal Con­fe­rence on IT Secu­ri­ty Rese­arch: Streng­thening the digi­tal­ly con­nec­ted socie­ty

The Natio­nal Con­fe­rence on IT Secu­ri­ty Rese­arch took place from 13 to 15 March 2023 in Ber­lin and wel­co­med over 300 dele­ga­tes from the aca­de­mic, busi­ness, and govern­ment sec­tors. During the­se three days, par­ti­ci­pan­ts dis­cus­sed topics such as ensu­ring secu­ri­ty for our hyper­con­nec­ted socie­ty, the safe and secu­re use of arti­fi­ci­al intel­li­gence (AI), Quan­tum Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on, and tech­no­lo­gi­cal sove­reig­n­ty in the IT secu­ri­ty sec­tor. SQuaD, QuN­ET and their rese­arch part­ner Quan­tum Optics Jena were on hand with their own booths, whe­re they pre­sen­ted the latest deve­lo­p­ments in the field of Quan­tum Key Dis­tri­bu­ti­on (QKD) in Ger­ma­ny.
