Sci­en­ti­fic Pre-Pro­jects: Pho­to­nics and Quan­tum Tech­no­lo­gies

The Bun­des­mi­nis­te­ri­um für Bil­dung und For­schung (BMBF) plans to fund so-cal­led “Wis­sen­schaft­li­che Vor­pro­jek­te” (WiV­o­Pro) in the field of pho­to­nics and Quan­tum Tech­no­lo­gies. The aim of the­se preli­mi­na­ry pro­jects is to inves­ti­ga­te sci­en­ti­fic issues with regard to future indus­tri­al appli­ca­ti­ons in pho­to­nics and Quan­tum Tech­no­lo­gy. They are inten­ded to sup­ple­ment exis­ting rese­arch fun­ding and build a bridge bet­ween basic rese­arch and indus­try-led col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve fun­ding.
