Work­shops on Needs Ana­ly­sis of Norms and Stan­dards for Qcom

On 6 and 11 March 2024 SQuaD and the Deut­sche Insti­tut für Nor­mung (DIN) hos­ted two work­shops on the topic “Needs ana­ly­sis of norms and stan­dards for Quan­tum Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on along the value chain”. The main goal of the events was to iden­ti­fy cur­rent obs­ta­cles to deploy­ment of Quan­tum Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on Tech­no­lo­gy. During the two work­shops, experts from the aca­de­mia and indus­try have iden­ti­fied tog­e­ther urgen­tly nee­ded norms and stan­dards to fos­ter and enable the pro­duc­tion of Quan­tum Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on Sys­tems, their inte­gra­ti­on in the exis­ting infra­struc­tu­re and their appli­ca­ti­on in end user pro­ducts. The fin­dings of the sur­veys will be published soon as a white paper.
